Luthergarten at Luther House (LG3QR2)
500 years of Reformation – 500 trees in Wittenberg
The third site of the Luthergarten, with 102 trees, is at the Eastern entry to the historic city center between Luther Oak and Luther House. Close to the Luther House and the former university visitors get in the right mood for the special atmosphere of Luther’s town.
Shaped is this part of the Luthergarten by Silver Linden trees on both sides of the street and by additional woody plants which allow to imagine the former appearance of the old university park.
This site is part of the overall structure of the former ramparts, where a circular route connects the three parts of the Luthergarten within walking distance.
With these trees the goal of 500 trees within the project Luthergarten will be reached.
Tree species and sponsors are easily identified by signs in front of the trees. A detailed list can be found on our website www.luthergarten.de and by touching the screen of this information terminal.
